She was predeceased by: her parents, John Rucker and Georgia Lee Rucker (Brewer); her husband Arthur Rucker; and her siblings, Fannie Lou Roebuck, Sylvester Heard, Matthew Heard, Alexander Heard, Worley Rucker, John Henry Rucker, Herman Rucker and Samuel Rucker.
She is survived by: her children, Gregory Daniels (Constance), Felicia (Robert), Carlton Fowler, Dyanne Rucker, Gary Arthur Rucker, Barbara Rucker Boney, Allen Rucker and Michael Rucker; her grandchildren, Jeremiah Surrency, Banard Daniels II, Caila Phillips, Robert A. Snead and G. Tyriq Snead; her niece Bridgette Kimble; her sister-in-law Elva Daniels; her friend Norma Rose Strange; her godchildren, Phyllis Glover, Sharon Johnson, Travis Rucker and Jacob Jones; her adoptive daughters, Erica Ransom, Lisa Earls, McKawonjalia Bates, Iris Brown, Peggy Craft, Tammy Hart, Kay Sanders and Sardis; and her aunt Dot'.
Viewing was held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Oak Grove Baptist Church (1589 Brewers Mill Rd, Elberton, GA 30635).
