With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donnie Ray Carroll Sr. (Elberton, Georgia), who passed away on February 24, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, L. M. Carroll and Macon Caldwell Haynes Carroll; his son Donnie Ray Carroll, Jr.; his grandson Ross Patrick McCaslan; and his siblings, Roger Carroll, Shirley Carroll, Melvin Carroll and Charles Carroll.
He is survived by: his wife Dora Eades Carroll; his daughters, Rochelle McCaslan Wallis (Jimmy) of Calhoun Falls, SC and Natalie McCannon of Elberton, GA; and his grandchildren, Grant McCaslan (Macon) of Greenwood, SC, Everette Seymour of Elberton, GA, Garrett Seymour (Amy) of Gainesville, GA, Chase Seymour (Leah) of Lawrenceville, GA, Max McCaslan of Calhoun Falls, SC, Daniel Carroll (Hannah) of Cherokee, NC and Allie McCannon of Elberton, GA. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
