He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Hall and Alice Jackson; his son Edward Jackson "Redd" of Elberton; and his siblings, Anabelle Maxwell, Elizabeth Jackson, George Jackson, Willy Jackson "Wm", Dean Jackson, Kurt Jackson and Johnny Jackson (John Henry).
He is survived by: his children, Johnnie Jackson "Tee" of Elberton, Balerie Jackson "Sissy" of Elberton, Brenda Sondej of Elberton, Rosetta Langlois of Hempstead and Michael Allen (Rolanda) of Greensboro, NC.; his stepdaughter Shirley Evans of Charlotte, NC; his sister Lorraine Williams of Florida; and his siblings-in-law, Verlie Jackson (Vera), Gladys Simpson, Horace Anderson and Doris Stephens.
