With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Clarence Eugene Wright Jr. (Elberton, Georgia), who passed away on January 28, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Eugene Wright Sr. and Vera Mae Ledford Wright; and his sister Dorothy Wright Grimes. He is survived by: his wife Ann Nell Johnson Wright; his daughters, Connie Wright Covington (Daryl) of Eatonton and Jennifer Wright Wallace (Jimmy) of Bowman, GA; his grandchildren, Jesse Covington and Alanna Covington Davis (Jeff) of Eatonton; his great grandchildren, Lyla Davis and Dakota Davis of Eatonton; his sisters, Myrtle Thomas of Zebulon, GA and Louise Moss of Lexington, SC; and his brother-in-law Henry L. Johnson of Commerce. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Family has requested that in lieu of flowers donations be made to favorite charity, church, or St. Mary's Hospice in Athens, GA.
