It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charlie V. Turmon of Elberton, Georgia, who passed away on November 2, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Turman and Annie Mae Turman (Clark); his grandparents, James, Carrie Turman, Alfred and Nora Clark; his wife Luevenia Turman; his sister Carrie T. Winston; his grandchildren, Demetri Willis, Roosevelt Agurs, Jr. and Kayla Glaze; and his great grandchildren, Moriah Cleveland and Madelyn Hayes.
He is survived by: his children, Sherroy Huff, Stacy Turman, Sr. (Ida), Patricia Whitaker, Tommy Turman, Sr., Charles Turman, Pricilla Agurs, Chris Turman (Annie) and Elder Steve Turman (Tonya); and his siblings, Johnny Turman, Mary W. Sumpter (John) and James Turman (Ivie). He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great greatgrandchildren.
Viewing was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Mack's Funeral Home, Elberton Chapel (320 College Ave, Elberton, GA 30635). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Thankful Baptist Church- Tignall (1054 Thankful Church Rd, Tignall, GA 30668). A burial was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at the same location.
