It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Catherine Denise Smith McGarity (Elberton, Georgia), who passed away on December 18, 2021, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father James Edward "Dink" Smith. She is survived by: her husband Thomas Glenn "Tommy" McGarity, III of Elberton; her mother Sybil Ruff Smith of Elberton; and her daughter Lauren Catherine of Saint Simons Island.
