We are sad to announce that on October 29, 2022, at the age of 81, Carol Elizabeth Gunter Walters of Elberton, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Bob Walters; her parents, James Howard "Zeke" and Mazelle Locke Gunter; and her brothers, Steve Gunter, Larry Gunter and Dennis Gunter.
She is survived by: her sons, Mike Walters (Kathy) of Elberton and James Walters (Jan) of Elberton; and her grandchildren, Nick, Jessica Fleischer, Amanda, Gordon Hendry, Amy, Brian McIntosh, Lynsey, Josh Stokes, Nathan Walters, Katie and Jilly Walters. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Flowers are accepted and contributions may be made in her memory to Northside Baptist Church, 384 North Oliver Street, Elberton, GA 30635.
