With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bobby Ray Whitehead (Elberton, Georgia), born in Oconee, Georgia, who passed away on December 24, 2020 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Franklin Whitehead, Sr. and Mattie Bell Middlebrooks Whitehead. He is survived by: his wife Evie Lee McCannon Whitehead; his children, Bobby J., Pagie Whitehead of Loganville, Brenda W. and David Baugh of Elberton; his sister Elsie Smith of Ft. Valley; and his grandchildren, Kitize, Marc Fleming, Jaime, Bryan Clardy, Brandon, Tara Baugh, Nikki and Ben Trant. He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
