She was predeceased by: her parents, Larry Benson Higginbotham and Annie Florie Goss Higginbotham; her daughters, Beverly Jo Ward and Brenda Joy Adams; and her siblings, Bruce Higginbotham and Willena Adams.
She is survived by: her husband Horace Smith Adams; her children, Susan of Elberton, John Fernandez of Elberton, Steve of Elberton and Mary Adams of Elberton; her son-in-law Mike Ward of Martinez; and her grandchildren, Jennifer Edmonds, Lori Tom, Scott Adams, Matthew Adams, Wes Ward, Ashley Ward and Daniel Edmonds.
Flowers will be accepted and contributions may be made in her memory to the charity of one's choice.
