She is survived by: her children, Rosalind Ashmore, Betty P. Potts, Dallas K. Phelps and James W. Phelps; and her siblings, George Heard, Paul Heard, David Heard, Otis Heard and Alma H. Oliver. She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
