Lucious Ira Carter Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 5, 2018, at the age of 77, Lucious Ira Carter (Edison, Georgia), born in Eagle Lake, Florida passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John B. Carter, Sr. and Alice Thornhill Carter; and his brother Albert Carter. He is survived by: his wife Dianna F. Carter of Edison; his children, Tracy Carter Mertz of Tallahassee, FL, Greg Carter (Kathleen) of Tallahassee, FL, Scott Carter (Leah) and Rocky Carter (Stormie) of Polk City, FL; and his siblings, Betty Lou Roberts, Barbara Ann Carter and John B. Carter, Jr. of Morris, GA. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Calhoun County Library at P. O. Box 365 Edison, GA 39846 in Luke's honor.
