With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Henry Thedford McLendon of Edison, Georgia, who passed away on November 29, 2022 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, W. E. McLendon and Mattie Bundy McLendon; his siblings, Ronelle, Rudolph and Nath; his wife Lois Farris McLendon; and his daughter Lois Denise McLendon.

He is survived by: his children, Glenn McLendon (Pam) and Melanie Sheppard (Hank); his grandchildren, Michael McLendon (Micaela), Christa Bracey (Dylan), Dylan and Katie Sheppard; and his great grandchildren, Tobias, Daxton and Mattie Bracey.

Memorial contributions may be made to Edison Baptist Church or the Edison Community Service Club.
