She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Shepard and Christine Shepard. She is survived by: her husband Julian Otis Lane III; her children, Kim Torbert of Cuthbert, GA and Michael Lane of Albany, GA; her grandchild Livvy Torbert; and her sisters, Janet Felts (Terry) of Ocala, FL and Katherine Dean (Andy) of Milford, GA. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Edison Baptist Church, a place that held a special place in Brenda's heart.
