With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nancy L. Blackmon of Eden, Georgia, who passed away on September 6, 2024 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Nancy is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Nancy's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her husband Larry L. Blackmon, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Lewis Blackmon, Sandra Wrye (Charles), Donna Hodges, Joseph Blackmon (Jennifer), Jimmy Blackmon, Lorie Yoder (Jason), Jacob Blackmon (Christina) and Matthew Blackmon. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and many "adopted" children.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, September 12th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Oak Hill Cemetery.
