He was predeceased by: his parents, Betty Kirby and William Paul Kirby, Sr.; his wife Joan Kirby; and his siblings, Kathy Kirby and Luther "Luke" Kirby.
He is survived by: his children, Hollie Kirby Bradley (Justin) and William Paul Kirby, III (Anslea); his sisters, Sandra Kirby Croft (Todd) and Marie Kirby Williams; and his grandchildren, Clara Rose Bradley, Payne Bradley and Paislee Kirby. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
