He was predeceased by: his parents, William Thomas and Audrey Harvill Jackson. He is survived by: his wife Christine Jackson of Eatonton; his son William Carl Jackson, Jr.; and his sisters, Anita Stewart of Madison and Juanita Hill of Carnesville. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren. 13 great grandchildren and 13 great great grandchildren.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to Lone Oak Baptist Church.
