It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger Kent of Eatonton, Georgia, born in Macon, Georgia, who passed away on January 25, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Reuben Kent, Jr. and Beatrice Purvis Kent; and his brothers, Rueben Kent, III and Ronald Kent. He is survived by: his wife Jo Anne Willis Jenkins; his stepchildren, Gayla Hunnicutt (Keith), Tammy Barton (Bobby), Tiffany Harvill (Robert) and Blake Jenkins (Candice); his grandchildren, Dustin Hostetter and Morgan Tucker; his stepgrandchildren, Brooklin Barton and Briley Barton; his sister Sandra K. Smith; and his sisters-in-law, Helen Kent, Mary Willis Clark and Martha Willis Burgamy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
