He was predeceased by : his daughter Cheri Thomas Mathis. He is survived by : his wife Mary Thomas; his children, Debbie Thomas Richardson and Michael Thomas; his sister Willie Collins; his niece Velda Croy Wells; and his nephew Eric Croy.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Stephen's Episcopal Church (220 S Wayne St, Milledgeville, GA 31061).
