He was predeceased by: his parents, James Darling and Bobbie McIntyre; his daughter Melissa McIntyre; and his siblings, Bobby McIntyre and Patricia McIntyre.
He is survived by: his children, Candy Garcia, Sabrina Bowman, Misty Dawn and James Herman Mc Intyre Jr.; and his siblings, Glenn, Sammy McIntyre and Denise Taylor. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
