She was predeceased by: her parents, John Carnes and Evie Carnes; her husband Walt Rountree; her siblings, Tommy Giles, Evelyn Copelan, Lillie Hewitt, Alice Holle, Johnnie Harper and Jimmy Carnes; her grandson-in-law Al Scott; and her great grandchild Jon Harrison Butler.
She is survived by: her son Mike Rountree (Freda); her grandchildren, Renee Foran (Brad), Stephanie Scott, Matt Rountree (Cathy), Chris Adams (Jill), Blake Adams (Beth) and Courtney Butler (Jon); her siblings-in-law, Nanette Carnes and Horace Harper; and her close friend Irene Carnes Holt. She is also survived by 32 nieces and nephews, 14 Great grandchildren 3 great great grandchildren.
