He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Doris Hogan Veal and Walter George "Huck" Huskins; his daughter Doris; his siblings, Hart Huskins, Marcie Veal Metzger and Dallas Douglas Veal, Jr.; the mother of his children Sylvia Kathleen Sanders; his wife Beth; his son Chris; his daughter-in-law Brandy; his son Grayson; and his daughter-in-law Brandi. He was also cherished by his five grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be given to Eatonton First United Methodist Church or Gatewood Schools.
