He is survived by: his children, Margaret Ann Long Layson (Charles) and Ralph William "Bill" Long; his siblings, Ralph Bennett Long, Allen Norris Long (Susan) and Cynthia Ann Long Jones (Chuck); his uncle John Allen Bennett; and his aunt Virginia Leathers Bennett.
