He was predeceased by: his parents, Hattie Bell Cannon and Elmer Bond; his stepmother Ionis Bond; his brother Billy Bond; and his in-laws, Marvin and Gladys Parkerson.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Parkerson Bond; his children, Sherry Freyer (Craig) and Scott Bond; his grandchildren, Chloe Freyer and Gabe Freyer; his sisters-in-law, Laney Bond and Renee Mullis; his nephews, Darryl Bond, Mike Bond, TJ Mullis and Casey Mullis; his great-niece Madison Mullis; his great-nephews, Wesley, Jacob, Eric and Travis Bond; and also Rachel Bond.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Hardy-Towns Funeral Home (6399 Oak St, Eastman, GA 31023). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
