She was predeceased by: her parents, Becky Joiner and Early Wright; her husband Marcus Gordon Brown; her son Thomas Jessie Brown; and her siblings, Ida Pearl Crosby, Alta Mae Taylor, Louise Brown, Tommy Wright, Junior Wright and Wendall Wright.
She is survived by: her children, Judy Faye Freeman, Sara Jo Yawn (Mike), Carol Singletary (Cheyenne), Ray Brown and Alvin Brown; her sister Edna Dowdy; and her sister-in-law Shirley Wright. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
