He was predeceased by: his mother Cora Wright; and his siblings, Fred Whittle, Myrtice Lindsey, Ruth Whittle and Lois Colter.
He is survived by: his sons, Greg Whittle (Sharon) and Michael Whittle (Pam Slye); and his grandchildren, Nathan Whittle, Katie Frank (Ryan), Thomas Whittle (Jenni), Russell Whittle, Laura Whittle and Rachel Whittle.
