He was predeceased by: his parents, Ester Bowen Spires and Hugh Spires; and his brothers, Phil Spires and Steven Spires. He is survived by: his siblings, Arlette Smith, Johnny Spires and Lonnie Spires. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
