It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Michael Dokey Sr. (Eastman, Georgia), born in Kalamazoo, Michigan, who passed away on May 20, 2019, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Linda Dokey of Eastman, Georgia; his children, John Dokey, Jr. (Pam) of Cleveland, Michael Dokey of Hawkinsville, Robert Shircliff of South Carolina, Robert Dokey of Hawkinsville, Tom Dokey (Candi) of Hawkinsville, Christopher Dokey (Krissy) of Midway, Georgia, Kellie Haas (Rick) of Florida and Shellie Roberts (Alvin) of Hawkinsville, Georgia; and his brother Merritt Dokey of Michigan. He was also cherished by 33 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren and 1 great- great grandchild.
