He was predeceased by: his parents, Rubena Graham and Jack N. Jones; and his wife Lynette Maddox Jones. He is survived by: his children, Laura J. Thompson (Stephen), Donna Haney (Chris), Jennifer McLeod (John) and James H. Jones, Jr. (Tammy); his siblings, Winnie Ruth Searcy (Ken), Cindy Hardy (Randy), John W. Jones (Patricia) and Floyd Booth Jr.; his brother-in-law Charles Maddox (Marilyn); his friends, Patricia Laidler (Rodney) and Jimmy Kersey; and his pet Abby. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, two great grandchildren.
