He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Thompson and Mable Bridges Thompson; his daughter Lacy Thompson; and his siblings, Demmie Thompson, Earl Thompson, Randy Thompson and Betty Sue Hobbs.
He is survived by: his wife Suellen Thompson; his son Ben Thompson; his stepchildren, Kim Thompson (Dale), April Jessup and Michael Brady; his grandchildren, Robyn Thompson, Glynn Sergei Thompson, Linzy Bowen, Gage Brady and Ryan Bowen; and his siblings, Doyle (Andrea Thompson), Beth Dickerson, Donnie (Mary Thompson) and Brenda (Royce Alligood).
Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hardy-Towns Funeral Home (6399 Oak St, Eastman, GA 31023). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
