He was predeceased by: his mother Lewise Cheatham; his wives, Lily, Joanne and Lene Arnold; and his son Frank Arnold.
He is survived by: his children, Hazel Dunbar (Bob), Susan Arnold (David Waldrep), Lewis Arnold and Paul Arnold; and his grandchildren, Rob Dunbar (Melanie), Sarah Brooks, Thomas Dunbar (Luna), Amy Chambers (Alex), John Waldrep (Laura), Nicole Harris (Brandon), Emma Arnold, David Arnold (Hannah), Taylor Arnold (Savannah), Zachery Arnold and Sunnie Arnold. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
