It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ernestine Tripp Jackson of Eastman, Georgia, born in Pulaski, Georgia, who passed away on February 19, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Tripp and Myrtle Fellows Tripp; and her stepfather Carlton Vaughn. She is survived by: her husband Zelton Pete Jackson of Eastman; her son Corey Bryan Jackson of Eastman; her sister Betty Jean Payne of Eastman; and her stepsister Carlene Campbell of Shelbyville, Tennessee.. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

“We are first cousin to Ernestine's Mother who we called Cousin Myrtle. Our family has often recalled times we would visit them and all go down to the river and fry fish. Betty Jean and Ernestine were near the same age as some of us. Our family enjoyed those times , and future visits for several years.
