She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Augustus "Gus" Burch and Grace Elizabeth Taylor Burch; her grandparents, Benjamin Marion, Emma Womble Burch of Virginia, Martin of Dodge County and Nancy Ann Parkerson Taylor of Dodge County; her siblings, Hazel Burch Tanner Youngblood and Carlton Samuel Burch; and her siblings-in-law, Fred Tanner, Magdalene, Wilbur Batts, Howard Faircloth, Judy, Troy Driggers, Kenneth Giddens, Odelle Smith Faircloth and Mary Etta Smith Giddens.
She is survived by: her husband Joel Willard Smith; her children, Timothy Joel Smith, Kathy G. Smith and Chad W. Smith; her grandsons, Jason C. Smith (Jennifer) of Dallas and Jarrett M. Smith of Sandy Springs; and her great grandchildren, Ashlyn, Mckenna Grace and Carson Charles Smith.
