He was predeceased by: his parents, Alma Dubberly Mincey and Dock Mincey; his children, Tony Edward Mincey, Nancy Jane Mincey and Mary Ann Mincey; and his siblings, Bobbie Jean Curry, Gene Mincey and Wendall "Buzz" Mincey.

He is survived by: his wife Janet Desrosiers Mincey; his children, Donna Cannon (Ronnie), Steve Mincey (Sherry) and Arleen Eberling (Ricky); his siblings, Carroll Mincey (Linda), Shirley Hester, Wanda Rogers (Gene) and Faye Herrington (Tommy); his daughter-in-law Laurie Mincey; and his grandchildren, Chad Cannon (Shannon), Erica Cannon, Colby Mincey (Amber), Aleah Mincey, Magan Sheffield (Matt), Micah Barrow (Jamie), Arron Bracewell, Alec Bracewell and Noah Mincey. He is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
