He was predeceased by: his parents, Ethel Miller Drury and Burwell Drury Sr.; his brother James F. Drury; his great grandchild Noah Nicks; and his stepdaughter Cathy Atkinson.

He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Horne Drury of Eastman; his children, Brenda Hamilton (Bo) of Moncks Corner, SC., Belinda Groover (Coleman) of Woodbine, George T. Drury (Graysie) of White Oak and Tina Chancey (Marc) of Nahunta; his stepson Charles Glisson (Mary) of Eastman; and his brothers, Paul Drury (Alice) and Pat Drury (Glenda). He is also survived by Nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
