He was predeceased by: his parents, David Rick and Elva Woodward Ballew; his wife Betty Jo Dilbeck Ballew; and his grandson Kevin "Guy" Ballew. He is survived by: his children, Rita Cantrell (Mark) of Toccoa, Jo King (Mike) of Dacula, GA and Carl Ballew; and his grandchildren, Chad Isbell, Nicole Hoge, Kim McCollum and Bridgett Jackson.
