It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joe Nichols of Eastanollee, Georgia, who passed away on December 23, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Collie and Altha Welborn Nichols; and his siblings, Vaughn Nichols, Dennis Nichols, Rev. Ernest Nichols and Pauline Stowe.
He is survived by: his wife Trudy Turner Nichols; and his children, Gary Nichols (Marlene), Rhonda (Bruce Moore), Susan (Richard Ivester), Martha (Warren Fisher), Jimmy (Kim Nichols) and Tressa (Tim Westmorland). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Due to the conditions concerning the health and well-being of our community, social distancing will be observed. Those attending the service are encouraged to wear a mask.
