He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Thomason and Margaret Ledbetter Thomason; his wife Brenda Bryant Thomason; his brother Melvin Thomason; and his brother-in-law Jessie Brock.
He is survived by: his son Brian Thomason; his granddaughters, Charley Thomason and Hadley Thomason; and his siblings, Walter Thomason (Jackie), Mack Thomason (Carol), Louise Brock and Peggy Thomason.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Whitlock Mortuary, Inc. (120 Rose Ln, Toccoa, GA 30577). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 at the Stephens Memorial Gardens (3650 GA-17, Toccoa, GA 30577).
