It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Betty Cape Hicks of Eastanollee, Georgia, born in Harlan, Kentucky, who passed away on September 23, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Reese Cape and Bertha Iona Ellis (Rogers); her husband Toby "Ted" Hicks; her son Tony Martin; and her brother Roger Cape.
She is survived by: her daughters, Louise (Allen Kinnard) and Joyce (Josh Abercrombie); and her sisters, Christine Swoboda, Ruth Holmes and Ila Jean Dickson. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
