It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mark Pentecost Wilkins of East Point, Georgia, born in Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on August 11, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer E Wilkins, Sr. and Susie M Wilkins; and his brothers, Willie T Wilkins, George R. Wilkins and Jere E Wilkins.
He is survived by: his wife Carla Wilkins; his brother Homer E Wilkins, Jr. (Francine) of Marietta; his sister-in-law Brenda Wilkins of Peachtree City; his nephews, David Wilkins (Monica), Jonathan Wilkins (LeAnne) and Stephen Wilkins (Liz); and his niece Anna Manicia (John).
He donated his own brain tissue to it in the hopes that dedicated treatment and/or a cure can be found soon.
