He was predeceased by: his daughter Wanda Gail Spivey Lee; and his siblings, Charles Spivey, Gloria Fountain, Thelma Carroll and Joann McCord.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Norris Spivey of East Dublin; his son Gary Spivey (Rosie) of Dublin; his brother James A. Spivey (Betty) of East Dublin; his grandchildren, Bryan Spivey (Krystal) of Soperton, Daniel Spivey (Amanda) of Dublin, Michael Spivey of Dublin, Abigail Lee of Bryon and Joe Lee of Bryon; his son-in-law David Lee of Bryon; and his great grandchildren, Walker Spivey of Dublin, Ethan Spivey of Dublin, Skylar Spivey of Dublin and Layne Spivey of Dublin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
