She was predeceased by: her husband Walter T. Horne; her parent Grace Brantley Smith; and her son Wyman Hester. She is survived by: her children, Cathy Horne Hall (Woodrow) of East Dublin, Janet Niblett (Terry) of Eastman, Tommy Horne and Gale Thigpen (Larry). She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
