He is survived by: his wife Lucretia Tinsley; his children, Alexandra Tinsley of Dublin, Nicole Allen of Dublin, Shanice Henry (Johnny) of Dublin, Diasia Mitchell of Soperton, Curtiss Tinsley III of Riverdale, Brandon Allen (J'nae), Tavarus Cross of Dublin and Marquis Mitchell of Winder; his siblings, Duncan Tinsley of Dublin, Abigail Tinsley of Eastman and Veronica Tinsley-Brown of Dexter; his aunts, Stella Walker of Chester, Nellie Braswell of Irvington and Ruby Coley; and his brother-in-law Rudy Brown (Tascha Jones).
