He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Hugh and Grace Patricia Stewart; his son Joey Dean; his nephews, Johnnie Carl Jones and Ricky Allen Jones; his brother-in-law Steve Alligood; his aunt Trellie Stewart; his great-aunt Addie Graham Braddy; and his brother-in-law E. H. Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Debbie Alligood Stewart; his children, Stephanie Moye of Lyons, Rylie Dean, Haylie Dean and Philip Dean (Tosha Rowland) of Wrightsville; his grandchildren, Brayden Dean of East Dublin, Zach Moye, Chase Moye and Blakley Dean of Wrightsville; his siblings, Charles Wade Stewart (Willene) of Perry and JoAnne Stewart Jones of East Dublin; his sisters-in-law, Debbie Brown Alligood of Cadwell and Brenda Sue Sikes (Murrell) of Dahlonega; and his close friend Paul Sly. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
