She was predeceased by: her parents, Thad Estes and Helen Estes; her husband Ben Hutchings; and her siblings, Betty Taylor, T. W. Estes, Mark Estes and Mike Estes.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cathy Wood (Bobby) of East Dublin, Connie Duncan (Doug) of Springvale, ME and Twyla Moroney (Chuck) of East Dublin; and her siblings, Joe Estes (Liz) of Milledgeville, Bess Adams of Milledgeville, Sally Smith of Milledgeville, Nellie Adams (Thomas) of Milledgeville, Nancy Godbee (Ernie) of Milledgeville and Bonnie Baynard (Sam) of Augusta. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren.
