With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Tinsley Hoyt Irvin (Dunwoody, Georgia), born in Cornelia, Georgia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Tinsley left this world on February 19, 2025 at the age of 91, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Hoyt Irvin and Annie Ray Irvin King; his pet Sadie; his wife Gail Wood; his brother Neill Irvin; and his granddaughter Erin Irvin Aivalotis.
He is survived by: his daughters, Cindy Aivalotis (Ron) and Diane Christian (Michael); his grandchildren, Stephen Christian (Alyssa), Avery Christian, Cole Aivalotis and Meggie Aivalotis; and his great grandchild Michael Christian. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Dunwoody Methodist Church (1548 Mt Vernon Rd, Dunwoody, GA 30338).
