She was predeceased by: her parents, Rush James Johnson and Selima Galloway Johnson; and her husband Ed Chalmers. She is survived by: her daughters, Laura Netherton (Cass) of Peachtree Corners, GA and Beth Chalmers (Freelin) of Chattanooga, TN; her grandchildren, Ava, Eli Netherton, Samuel and Isaac Chalmers; and her brother Jim Johnson of Calabash, NC..
