He is survived by: his children, Denise Helms (Phil), Rene Melson and Talmon Eugene Harber, Jr.; his grandchildren, Angie, Mike Ballenger, Jamie, Glen Huff, Presley Melson, Cameron, Allison Melson, Trey Harber, Stephen, Lauren Harber, David and Sarah Harber; and his great grandchildren, Marion-Elise Huff, Bryce Ballenger, Reagan Huff, Philip Huff, Nash Melson, Slaton Melson, Eleanor Harber and Henry Harber.
In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions be made to Georgia Agape, in memory of Gene.
