She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Harrison Rice and Lillian Rice; her husband Bruce Cardoza; and her children, Duane Cardoza, Kim Thrift (Glenn), Karen Herring (Rodney) and Klaudia McMahon (Steve). She was also cherished by six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
