She was predeceased by: her husband James Royal Smallwood; her mother Annie Davis; and her siblings, Cecil Herrin, Tommy Herrin, Geneva Holland and Mary Autry.
She is survived by: her children, Scott Smallwood (Cindy) of Auburn, Larry Smallwood (Cheryl) of Braselton, Connie Presley (Lamar) of Alto and Sue Mayfield (Terry) of Cumming; and her brother Mike Herrin of Albany. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bill Head Funeral Homes and Crematory - Duluth Chapel (3088 Duluth Hwy, Duluth, GA 30096). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Peachtree Memorial Park (5051 Peachtree Industrial Blvd, Norcross, GA 30092).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Truway Baptist Church at 450 Wild Cherry Court Canton, GA 30115, in memory of Mildred Smallwood.
