He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry and Maria Fahrngruber; his brother Richard; and his grandson Isaac. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Marie Henry; his children, Sandra O'Hara (Jeff), Jonathan Henry (Catherine) and Christopher Henry (Heather); his grandchildren, James, Conner, Ryan O'Hara, Lucas and Joseph Henry; his sister Brigitte Marchman (Taylor); his nephew David Chaplin (Stacee); his nieces, Kaitlyn and Courtney Chaplin; and his godmother Henriette Smith.
